Claims Administrator – Galway

Exciting opportunity to begin a career within the Insurance industry.  We are currently hiring for a Claims Administrator to join our expanding Claims operations in Galway.  We are looking for individuals at entry level and are also looking for more experienced administrators.

 

This role as Claims Administrator will be required to support Injury & Liability Claims Handlers in their settlement and business objectives.  Your time will be spent reviewing, actioning & issuing claims correspondence and other duties arising from activities determined by the I&L Claims Teams . You will be desk based and you will work with other colleagues and be part of a team. You will have strong communication and organisation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Input & Imaged Post Management
  • Injuries Board (IB) notifications
  • RBA requests
  • CPC Letter Issue for I&L Teams
  • New Claims Set up & administration
  • Processing Solicitor nominations - secure email of file documentation to Solicitor
  • Assigning post on Dorsal to correct handlers
  • Arev Claims
  • Assistance with Cheque Issue Process
  • Sorting of Physical Post
  • Processing Electronic Transfers
  • Closed Filing Management
  • Closed paper files to be boxed, barcoded and entered onto our closed file database & hand off to Contractor
  • Maintenance of the Physical File Tracker
  • File Management
  • Assistance with file preparation for Audit / TFR/ Data Access Requests & other ad hoc requests
  • Preparation of File for hand over to Recovery teams
  • All cheques sent out same day
  • Closed File Database reviewed daily
  • Closed Filing to be completed at least once per week
  • Solicitor Nominations to be processed within 3 days
  • CPC Letters to be issued on a daily basis to ensure compliance with CPC regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Organisational Skills
  • To adhere always to RSA I&L Claims Best Practice
  • To understand the requirements of the Consumer Protection Code
  • Organisational Skills
