This Workforce Planning Analyst will be involved using your analytical skills and workforce management experience to develop forecasts and plans to support the effective operation of the business
 
As Workforce Planning Analyst you will spend most of your time conducting research, analysing information, and producing models and reports to manage capacity planning across Operations teams. You are likely to work in a strategy and planning team, involved in resource and financial planning for an operational area. You will have good analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to communicate detailed/complex information.
You will provide input into Operational and Strategic planning and you will have a strong understanding of the business areas you work with.  You will conduct research, analyse data and develop sophistication and accuracy of planning models.  You will leverage planning and analytical tools to improve the Resource Planning capability with the aim of improving understanding of Demand across all channels, improving accuracy of supply and demand forecasts.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills interacting with a range of stakeholders across HR, finance, marketing and senior operational leaders.  You will have good analytical and problem solving skills and be able to communicate detailed/complex information clearly to drive operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing forecasting models and capacity plans for Operations teams across the business
  • Designing, developing and distributing reports to key stakeholders, demonstrating a strong understanding of data
  • Deliver realistic and robust supply and demand plans, highlighting risks and opportunities and making recommendations for the business to meet and exceed their plans
  • Identifying and communicating resource challenges to the management team
  • Producing analysis to highlight any variances to plan, clearly showing trends and making recommendations to improve performance
  • Building strong relationships with the Operations managers and other key stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of the business activities
  • Understanding the impact of projects, and other ad-hoc initiatives, on business resources and providing impact assessments to management and project teams
  • Helping the Operations teams to achieve service levels
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Leveraging WFM best practice and planning tools to produce plans and insight with minimum of effort whilst also increasing accuracy of plans and transparency of assumptions
  • Support development and implementation of contact centre and analytical technologies to improve operational performance and resource planning capability.
