People Data & Insights Specialist - 12 Month Fixed Contract 

This job involves developing and delivering reports, data analysis and insights within the RSA People & Culture function. You will use your expert knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel to deliver regular and ad hoc data requests and reports ensuring they are produced accurately and on time. 

You will build and deliver analytic solutions with detailed analysis and interpretation of data. You will use your analytical skills to identify changes needed in order to maintain good data practice as well as responding to changing business needs. You will prepare and collate reports and complete data analysis to inform sound business decision making from a People & Culture perspective, using key people metrics and associated financials.

You will enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders working closely with the business functions and external partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual MI reporting for the People & Culture team
  • Dealing with information requests and effectively prioritising the creation of ad-hoc reporting requests from the business and wider RSA/Intact Group
  • Ownership and development of the people data dashboards, meeting the team and wider business needs
  • Delivering regular data and insights to key stakeholders such as the RSAII Executive Team and UK&I business partners
  • Use your extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to produce and maintain data in a clear and concise manner reflecting the request requirements
  • Support delivery of new and existing data feeds, from a variety of sources, ensuring they are fit for purpose for the business requirements
  • Lead the data integrity processes to ensure data is accurate, up to date and effectively maintained
  • To provide annual data requirements and validation to third parties
  • To identify and maintain a suite of reporting requirements to support the governance and control environment in relation to all RSA Ireland and wider Group ad hoc MI reporting
  • Implement HR Systems improvements where required and proactively manage existing third party and vendor relationships
  • To contribute to the effectiveness of the People & Culture team seeking continuous improvement of policies and practices, playing an integral role in leading and supporting various projects and activities
  • To maintain a solid working relationship with our Business Leaders
  • Development, testing and implementation of all system changes across HR technologies
  • Improve the integration of HR systems and data, working with IT as appropriate

 

Requirements:

  • Business / HR related third level qualification is preferable
  • Track record of managing and delivering end to end projects
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • Exposure to cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Acts quickly to resolve problems
  • Remains patient when imparting knowledge to others
  • Is able to analyse critical information and can quickly identify the key components and key business needs
  • Develops and builds good working relationships with employees at all levels
  • Solid organisational and delivery skills
  • Is able to challenge accepted practice and process
  • Experience of prioritising, planning and delivering own workload
  • Experience of producing meaningful and accurate MI
  • Experience of providing support within a professional HR environment
  • Flexible approach to work
