Claims Insight & Control Analyst

Excellent new role in our Claims Insights and Control Team.  As Claims Insights & Control Analyst you will be involved working in a small, technically experienced, and critical team where you will work closely with the Head of Claims Insight & Control and the wider Claims Management Team.

The team is responsible for the delivery of a robust and sustainable control environment within Claims, ensuring that Claims are operating in compliance with the Claims Policy and supporting Frameworks.

You will work closely with other members of the Claims Insight & Control Team as well as the wider Claims Community to ensure clear understanding of the Control, Customer and Operational Performance of the Claims Function. In particular, you will work closely with the Technical File Review Team ensuring their various quarterly file related activities are in place for them. You will also work with functions external to Claims (e.g., Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Finance).

You will need a level of business knowledge and experience which you will continually develop, and you will use your organisational and planning skills to deal with conflicting priorities and demands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the Insight Control team and the broader Claims Community is compliant with the Claims Policy and its associated supporting Frameworks in particular the CTR Framework
  • Working with FCF, Risk, Regulatory Compliance and Audit ensuring claims supports the three line of defence method of control. Ensuring all actions, remediations post any reviews are completed within the required timeframes.
  • Preparing reports on a regular or ad hoc basis, within agreed timescales.
  • Analysing data and information to identify trends, anomalies, gaps, etc.
  • Responsible for tracking issues and actions to conclusion where applicable
  • Contributing and managing the production of communications and presentations for stakeholders where applicable
  • Participating in Claims related projects as required and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with project scope and definition.
  • Ensuring all AML & Sanctions related activities are performed within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensuring monthly Committee meeting materials such as presentations and minutes within your remit are produced to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.

 

 

Requirements:

  • 2 Years experiences within Insurance industry
  • The role is Dublin based but you will also spend time in Galway and Belfast Claims Operations
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Intermediate level Excel & PowerPoint
  • A knowledge of the RSAII Business (knowledge of claims processes and procedures may be an advantage)
  • Understanding of relevant Group polices and regulatory requirements.

  • If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
