Third Party Management Analyst

RSA Procurement manages a diverse supply chain to support our business operations and to provide the products and services necessary to meet our customers’ needs.

We perform an important role to support the business requirements, supplier relationship management and key strategic initiatives.

Reporting to Procurement Specialist as Third-Party Management Analyst, in this role you will act as the subject matter expert on all aspects of Third-Party Management (TPM). The role is multifaceted - responsible for driving and monitoring performance of strategic suppliers, managing supplier segmentation, setting, and aligning TPM programme with Policy and with overall business objectives as well as developing and delivering TPM reporting and communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Head of Procurement / Procurement Specialist to set the TPM strategy and design TPM programmes and initiatives to deliver the required results aligned with Policy.
  • Work with stakeholders and colleagues to integrate TPM into business activities ensuring best practice, and collaborate with TPM UK and SMEs to support management of third-party management risk. 
  • Assist business units / SRMs to manage compliance with Policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform supplier audits / SPRs to actively review and measure supplier compliance.
  • Perform SAP approvals, amends, audits, etc. to ensure our payments comply.
  • Develop an expertise in the business needs and capabilities for strategic suppliers and key business processes in our supply chain.
  • Build on existing talent within the Procurement team, ensuring performance development through coaching and mentoring, improving effectiveness and efficiency to deliver and exceed the targets set for procurement.
  • Actively support the Procurement digital transformation programme.
  • Build relationships with similar type organisations and act as the company's TPM representative at industry meetings to share best practice.
  • Prepare management information and reports for various Boards and/or Committees as required.

 

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial industry, preferably in a Data analysis and/or Process function.
  • Demonstrate RSA Insurance Ireland values and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory rules and guidance notes in a practical manner.
  • Excellent organising and planning with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver on objectives.
  • Mastery in Excel and a data analytical mind.
  • Strong relationship management skills and experience engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Strong advantage to have knowledge of CBI Guidelines on Outsourcing, EIOPA guidelines on Cloud Outsourcing.
  • Strong advantage to have experience working within supply chain, vendor management, third-party risk in a regulated industry.
  • Ability to deal with multiple data sources and data systems.

  • This role is subject to the Fitness and Probity Standards (“The Standards”) , issued under Section 50 of the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 and any subsequent amendments. The role holder must ensure they are fully aware of the Standards and in a position to fully comply with them at all times.
