Finance Transformation Specialist
This role involves working as part of the Finance team responsible for Finance transformation. Working as part of the project team you will be responsible for transformation of finance processes in the reporting and analysis function and delivery of Finance system migrations.
This will involve using new tools and technologies to enhance reporting and provide automation where possible. You will drive change by reviewing processes and adding operational efficiencies to create capacity. You may lead or work as part of a team and will play a key role in the delivery of a robust Financial Reporting environment. This is minimum 3-year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects on transformation of current reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
- Design new processes for the Finance target operating model.
- Play a key part in the design of and transition to a new general ledger and chart of accounts. This will include identification of business requirements, mapping out of key deliverables, and implementation testing.
- Chart of accounts management, mappings between systems.
- Identifying and suggesting opportunities to add value through improved efficiency or effectiveness and/or enhanced service.
- Completion of testing and dry runs on new systems.
- Develop and update project pans and status reports.
- Work with various stakeholders internally and within Group.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (preferable) with significant PQE
- PMO/Finance transformation experience – at least 3-4 years experience essential.
- Insurance PMO/Finance transformation experience
- Role can be based in Dundrum or Galway.
- Previous experience in Finance transformation essential.
Regulatory Requirements:
- If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
