Credit Control Team Manager
This role involves leading the Credit Control Team within Finance Operations. You will be leading a team responsible for delivering a designated service or range of services to internal and/or external customers to a high standard and defined SLAs.
These services will typically be of a transactional nature eg premium collection, debt management but require the management of high and/or fluctuating volumes of activity, to tight deadlines and consistent standards within tight cost constraints.
In addition, you will be responsible for the Financial Reporting aspects of Debtor management and will contribute to the Credit Risk Committee. You will add value through your ability to ensure your team deliver consistently and reliably to the required standards, adapt to fluctuations or changes in demand and deal promptly and effectively with customers and non-standard situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating and developing an engaged team to deliver high quality outputs in the most effective ways while ensuring their personal and professional development
- Ensuring processes and transactions are carried out accurately and consistently in line with defined timescale and service standards e.g. response times, record keeping, referrals, etc
- Contribute to Credit Risk Committee pack and Debtor slides for Group
- Engaging with customers and colleagues to maintain open lines of communication, ensure mutual understanding of requirements, developments and practical constraints and the prompt resolution of issues arising
- Planning and managing team resources to meet current and anticipated workloads and customer requirements
- Review of monthly credit control reports and management of monthly team meetings and subsequent actions
- Contributing to the effective identification, monitoring and management of operational risks to ensure continuity of service, data security and the minimization of loss, in relation to team activities
- Operate Key Financial Controls relating to debtors and credit control (FSCP 25 & FSCP 26)
- Ensuring the team and its activities comply with relevant law and regulation, including those which may apply in customer territories, whether they apply in the operating territory
- Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives as needed to improve operational efficiency, develop capacity or capability and/or add value for customers
Requirements:
- 3- 4 Years experiences within Credit Control
- May be qualified Finance professional or significant financial reporting experience
- Proven ability to deliver operational activities to a consistent high standard and optimum cost to serve
- Experience in delivering customer service in a financial services environment.

- If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
