Excellent Career Opportunity for a experienced Senior Claims Handler in our office in Galway for a 9 Month Contract  This Senior Claims handler/Supervisor role involves supporting a Team Manager to achieve operational and quality targets. You will assist in the following areas:  complaints & queries, coaching & developing your team, implimenting standards to deliver on customer service excellence,  professional and technical capabilities where appropriate while also spending time in your core role.  You will supervise and motivate  the team  to achieve operational and quality targets and deliver the company customer service proposition.
This Senior Claims Handles will spend 30% of your time supporting the team manager, resolving queries and assisting with the development of the team.

 

Key Responsiblies:  

  • Assisting the Team Manager in leading and developing the team to ensure operational targets are delivered.
  • Guiding and coaching new team members to increase professional and technical capability.
  • Improving customer service and quality standards.
  • Working closely with other team supervisors to effectively implement change and strategy to deliver agreed business benefits.
  • Assisting in quality assurance  testing and identifying key trends.
  • Supporting the Team Manager to esnure all relevant aspects of CPC and MCC regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure key SLAs are met within the team
  • Create an environment of learning and development to ensure our customers receive an informative & professional experience.  
  • Increase customer satisfaction and retention through leading a team to deliver 1st class customer service.Increased process efficiency within your business unit.
  • Motivates and develops team creating a positive environment.
  • Achieve personal and team performance targets.
  • Feedback from internal customers and colleagues.


Requirements:

  • Based in Galway.
  • To establish effective working relationships both internally and externally with colleagues, brokers, customers and other key companies.
  • To have full understanding of regulations and market agreements / developments.
  • To pursue own development program.
  • To coach and develop colleagues within the team.
  • To participate in project work as it arises and undertake any other duties as reasonably required and deemed appropriate within the scope of the role
  • Hold or be progressing toward a recognised qualification in line with the requirements of the Minimum Competency Code for this role (e.g. Grandfathered / APA / CIP / ACII or other recognised qualification)
  • This role is a "controlled function" as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.  CF5&6.
