Great career opportunity for a Claims Supplier & Third-Party Manager to join a busy & dynamic claims team in Dublin.  This is a key role within our claims team will be given the exposure to with key suppliers and teams across the business.

This job will involve ensuring that the Claims External Delegated Authority Framework and the Third-Party Contracts Policy are embedded within Claims. 

You will spend much of your time working with Claims Management and staff and External Delegated Authority, Aggregate Deductible and Claims Service Providers to ensure that these arrangements are being managed and controlled in accordance with RSA Group and Regulatory requirements.

You will spend time engaging with key suppliers and teams across the business, building strong relationships and ensuring that not only the service being paid for is received but value is added to this in terms of revenue and benefit to RSA and that control and control validation is operating in line with RSA requirements.

You will enjoy using your strong communication skills, compliance experience and technical knowledge to build this capability across the business to deliver a robust management of these relationships and to drive continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with External Delegated Authority, Aggregate Deductible and Claims Service Providers to ensure they are operating in compliance with RASII Requirement
  • Working with internal claims staff and management and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate and complaint control and control validation is place for each arrangement
  • Ensuring delivery of the claims review cycle in line with a risk-based methodology and in line with Group requirements
  • Ensuring that as we enter into new agreements we do so in line with Group requirements
  • Facilitating the provision of KPIs in relation to the financial and operational performance of each arrangement
  • Providing specialist advice to suppliers, others in the team and wider RSA teams
  • Engaging with key stakeholders (particularly Actuarial & Portfolio) to provide insight on trends emerging from External Delegate Authority and Aggregate Deductible arrangements
  • Sharing insights gathered from external suppliers 
  • Compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements
  • Quality, timeliness and commercial appropriateness of outputs

Requirements:

  • APA / CIP / ACII or other recognized qualification
  • 4- 5 years experiences in claims
  • Previous role involving Supply Chain / supplier management activity
  • Excellent communications & stakeholders managements skills 
  • Strong Negotiation skills

 

Regulatory Requirements:

  • This role is a "controlled function" as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.  CF5,6,7 & 8.
