Excellent career opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing sales team in RSA Insurance Dublin.

This role will involve manages relationships with Key Partners to effectively maximize performance and drive profitable revenue growth.  You will develop, agree and manage account plans (1-3 years) and maximize performance against sales, profit, NPS and employee engagement scores by delivering a market leading Affinity proposition. Strong relationship building, and management skills will be required to build strong personal relationships at senior levels in the partners organization.

You’ll be responsible for developing new opportunities into strong partnerships. Working with leaders across our sales, underwriting, and finance teams, you’ll focus on delivering a great experience for our partners and their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to grow profitable RSA business with your partner through maximizing renewal retention, creating new business opportunities and initiatives including cross sell, up sell and additional new revenue streams for the partnership.
  • Develop, agree and maintain a yearly account plan for each of your partners to achieve sales strategy and targets. Growth targets will be in line with overall RSA Operational Plan requirements.
  • Robust governance processes to include monthly engagement with senior stakeholders, weekly engagement at a trading level with Partner. (Joint Review Boards, Trading calls, CEO meetings).
  • Manage the effective delivery of account plans, involving finance, marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues, to ensure RSA achieves the required service and performance.
  • Manage the sales pipeline with each partner to ensure RSA achieves its annual sales targets.
  • Lead the identification, planning and winning of new account relationships to grow the Affinity portfolio in line with sales strategy.
  • Actively manage, coach, develop and support account managers and less experienced colleagues, to ensure delivery of the required standards of excellence as part of their personal and professional development.
  • Proactively develop sales skills and market/business knowledge, apply best practice techniques and tools to maximize your performance and exploit RSA’s investment in your training and development.
  • Comply with the required standards of sales excellence and best practice and operating effectiveness and efficiency, and Group, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Achievement of annual sales targets
  • Create a clear vision for each partner in place updated quarterly detailing the full value of partners business, successful marketing initiatives, retention rates by customer segment, conversion by channel, average premium, loss ratio drivers, monthly updating of each account plan.
  • Develop a full relationship management database and plan updated monthly detailing the key people in each partnership with details of proposed entertainment.

Requirements:

  • 5 Years sales experiences working in Financial Services is advantage.
  • Strong relationship management experiences
  • Excellent track record
  • CIP accreditation status by completion of CPD requirements
  • Full Clean Driving License necessary

Regulatory Requirements:

  • This role is subject to the Fitness and Probity Standards (“The Standards”), issued under Section 50 of the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 and any subsequent amendments. The role holder must ensure they are fully aware of the Standards and in a position to fully comply with them always.
  • This role falls within scope of the Minimum Competency Code (MCC) and requires the jobholder to have attained or be working towards the status of ‘Qualified Person’ in the relevant function(s) e.g. personal lines, commercial lines and claims or have attained a Statement of Grandfathered Status in the relevant function(s). A New Entrant working towards the status of ‘Qualified Person’ must be supervised by a Qualified Person or a Grandfathered Person. The status of ‘Qualified Person’ can be achieved through attaining the qualification of Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), Accredited Product Advisor (APA), or Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII or FCII). The jobholder must also comply with all CPD requirements as outlined in the MCC.
